Diets that require you to eat allot of one thing, like the Cabbage Soup Diet or the Diet Coke Diet – no way. I went on both of these in High School to fit into a prom dress. There are some food combination diets that can work, like High Protein, Low Carb diets, however they do require that you not eat so many things that they do not really accommodate a normal life style.

It is measures in calories like gas for your car is measured in gallons. When we take in more calories than we burn it is stored as fat. This fuel nourishes our body and gives it energy. If you pulled up to a gas pump that had a sign that read: This gas is contaminated and will cause your car to run poorly, would you stop and put it in your car? But isn’t that what happens when we eat that extra large fries, or that third piece of cake (the edges that have the optimum frosting)? On this journey lets discover how to eat healthy meals that will nourish our bodies and give us the energy to be active and feel great.
