Talking positively to ourselves seems like it should be the easiest thing in the world. After all we have total control over it. Who would ever put themselves down? Unfortunately self talk can often times be destructive and condemning. Feelings of fear and inadequacy can seep into our self talk and really control our success. Keeping self talk positive and constructive may need to be a skill that is learned and practiced.
