This
is a great recipe for spring and summer cooking. It is cooked in a
crock pot and so with a short amount of time in the morning or early
afternoon and you can have a great main dish prepared when it is time
for dinner. I also like this in the summer because it dose not make
your kitchen all hot since you don’t use the oven.

family the other night and they really liked it. It is really easy and

Don't get scared by the fact that there is no meat in these. The lentils are a great low fat source of protein and these tacos are really great!
I
know what you are thinking... I thought that too! But then I thought worse case, they would be gross and I would not
make them again. BUT they were great- I was worried about the texture

Now that spring has sprung the we switch gears from soup for dinner to salads for dinner. Salads are not only refreshing at the end of a hot day but they also don't heat up the kitchen while you are preparing them. There can be a problem however with calories and fat in the dressing. Try this poppy seed dressing that has great flavor without the regular mayo base.

With
the addition of vanilla yogurt, this basic muffin turns out moist and
tender. It’s easy and quick to prepare. One muffin is only 228
calories, however they are really yummy and so I have a hard time
holding myself to just one. I am glad the recipe only makes 6!

Here is a really good
chocolate cookie that is fairly healthy as far as chocolate cookies go.
They also freeze really well. If you wrap two together (with waxed
paper in between) and then stick them in a plastic bag you can pull
them out two at a time (thaw 15 minutes before eating) and then you may
not be as tempted to eat the whole batch.
