It's been said that garlic can ward off vampires and bring good luck. While we can't be sure about those statements, what is
known is that garlic is one of the tastiest, healthiest, and most
useful herbs. Garlic is an excellent source of manganese, a very good
source of vitamins B6[set "6" as subscript] and C, and a good source of
selenium. Also, because of its antioxidant properties, garlic p...

When it comes to frozen-food choices, the
"sky's the limit." Your options range from the simple (such as a meat
and potatoes meal) to the gourmet (such as lobster tails). You can
practically feed the United Nations with all the ethnic varieties
available. If you're on a special diet, no problem. These days you can
choose from varieties such as vegetarian, wheat-free, low-fat,
low-carb, and m...

The biggest misconceptions about the avocado
are that it's a vegetable (it's actually a fruit) and that it's high in

of fat per serving — and of this amount, 3 grams (or 60 percent) are
heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. Studies have shown monounsaturated
fat reduces serum cholesterol levels when substituted for saturated...

Q: I gave up meat a few years ago because I never knew what was healthy. Can you help steer me toward the healthiest cuts?A:
It is confusing — we've been receiving mixed messages about red meats
and pork for almost 20 years! As long as the meat is lean, with visible
fat removed, and you control the portion size and the frequency with
which you eat it, you can still have meat. To help you choos...

syndrome, or PCOS, in which case your body produces too much
testosterone.) Testosterone gives us energy, builds muscle, and

Make
sure all meals include fiber, nutrients and only good fats.
Blueberries, nuts, whole grains and vitamins A, D and calcium are often
overlooked. Beans are a great choice as they are packed with fiber,
which helps to prevent colon cancer. Order slightly less than you think you can eat in one meal. Obesity shortens your life and is discouraging for your self-image. Don’t
settle for fast foo...

My blood pressure was high, my cholesterol was high, I'd gained some weight, and I didn't feel so hot.
My doctor said eating right doesn't have to be complicated and it would solve my physical problems.
He said just think in colors...
Fill your plate with bright colors...
+ greens,+ yellows,+ reds,+ etc.
So I went right home and ate an...
