* Ways for Women to Stay Healthy *

Staying healthy can be a very hard thing to do for women. Their busy schedule allows for little opportunities for ways to stay healthy. Health can be physical, spiritual and psychological.

Maintain a healthy body weight. Exercise regularly, at least three times a week and make a healthy diet part of your life. Eats lots of fruits and vegetables, reduce the amount of sugar and fat in your food.

Lower your stress levels. Stress is associated with health problems and diseases. Manage your anger and stress. Take frequent short breaks during the day. Take some time for you by taking a bubble bath, reading a book, going for a walk, watching a funny movie, etc.

Go to the doctor frequently for regular check ups. Check yourself for PAP smears yearly and for dental cleaning at least every 6 months. Good dental hygiene is important for your health.

Every year, vaccinate yourself against flu and pneumonia. When you get older and are not vaccinated, you have a higher risk of getting sick.

Check your vision periodically and make sure you’re wearing the right prescription.

Check your cholesterol levels, blood pressure, blood glucose levels to prevent any health disease. Consult your doctor for taking the right medications.
