* Bad Habit Gone! *

Wow I have made another change!!!! I live near a Super Walmart and I do allot of my shopping there. The have the deli very close to the front door. The also have these popcorn shrimp that they sell for $1.49 for a fairly large cup and they stuff them full of these shrimp. They also have these small things of cocktail sauce. Add a drink and it is the perfect snack while shopping right? It is shrimp after all, no fat, low calorie. Ok, ok it is breaded and deep fried, and the drink is a soda because who wants to pay that much for just water.

When I first decided this was a bad habit that I was going to change I would walk in and have to talk my self out of going and getting the shrimp. I would use good self talk by listing the reasons that I want it and the reasons I should not want it. Of course the really only good reason is that it tasted good. Sometimes I didn’t get them but a few times I did.. As time went on it did not take so much for me to talk myself out of buying them. Then I got so I could just say, you know what I don’t even want them. The other day as I was walking out of Walmart and I realized that I didn’t even think about the shrimp one way or the other — Yeah!!!!!!!  It’s great to see another bad habit GONE!
